DQ Daze (pun intended)
To begin, let's make it clear that this is Taryn writing on Kristi's blog.
Reason: Kristi's mac is sick right now, and is not responding well to it's medicine- the internet. Therefore, I have been given blog administrator rights to Kristi's blog to further some very important information to all you fellow readers. Why couldn't I just post it on my blog? Kristi has her reasons.
There are two essential areas in Kristi's life. One of them is photography, and one of them is Dairy Queen. For the past 3 years, Kristi has been living this out, and I have been the lucky candidate who has gotten to tag along during this process.
Each summer since 2004, we have been making it a ritual to take a special trip to DQ to share something and capture a picture of it. Note that this is unique for 2 reasons: 1. The fact that we SHARE the ice cream. I don't know about Kristi, but with me, when it comes to DQ and sharing, that usually just doesn't work out, and 2. Don't confuse this "ritual" every summer to only be a one-time deal. Trust me, DQ sees us at a higher rate than once a year.
