Founder's Week

So first off I have to say I am throughly suprised that I actually beat Taryn to posting about our weekend... WOW!!

Hurray for me.

Anyways... Highlights of the weekend...

1. Speakers...
A. Chuck Swindoll
1. He does not look like I expected...
2. Read Matthew 11:28- about anxiety and worrying. There is no need to worry about earthly things... THE END.
B. James McDonald
1. Again, does not look like what I expected...
2. Read Hebrews 11-16 and spoke about Three Tools... The Word of God, The Son of God our Example and The Throne of
grace, our energy.
C. Michael Easley
1. I am going to be honest... I slept. I apolagize, I was exhausted.

2. The group...

I had a blast with everyone there. The car ride up was unforgettable with Holly, Tammy, Janelle and Taryn. We ate and ate and ate, and danced and danced and danced, and ate, and got scared and etc... Everyone else was fun too. The car ride home was uneventful because I slept. Again, I apolagize.

3. Eating...

We ate every second, in the car, pizza in the hotel, breakfast for some, Ed something or others for lunch, where the people were crazy rude, Starbucks, two or three times for some, and Steak and Shake on the way home. I was never hungry.

4. Walking on Michigan Avenue...

Our small group decided to go shopping and walk around. Needless to say we walked for an hour to the Art Institute and it was closing in one half hour so we looked in the book store. We saw guys on the street banging on buckets, the apple store, large things with faces, store after store, ice skating, and more.

As you can see this was fun and eventful...
