Pictures from the Eventful Night

Jared's truck...REALLY STUCK

The Backhoe pulling Jared's truck out... except it wasn't working very well...

The truck is still stuck after about 40 some minutes and Brett is sitting there basically laughing...

Notice the huge rut that Jared's truck made...

My shoe got soooooo muddy... :(

So Jared's truck is actually hanging off of a cliff size hill that was my brother's idea to go down

All of the boys staring at the huge hill Casey's truck had to go up

Casey's truck REALLY STUCK.. you could hardly see his tires

Little Lydia

I forget to tell about my little girl Lydia this morning in swim lessons. Ok that sounded funny. Anyways, I was teaching her in swim lessons this morning and she's sooo cute. She can barely touch and she's already passed up to level two. I've been trying to get her to go off the diving board by herself all week and she finally did it today and it made me sooo happy. Afterwards, she gave me a picture that she drew and a gift and said thanks for being her teacher. It was sooo sweet. The picture was of me and her and the diving board. Just thought I'd share my sweet little story.

My dumb brother...and boyfriend

Ok. So my brother is the dumbest boy I've ever met.... and you may think I'm being mean but when your done reading this blog you will completely agree with me. So him and two friends went fishing in the mackinaw river last night. One of my parents friends has land. I guess he got tired of standing while fishing (because the ground is really muddy and weedy and poison ivyey) So him and his three friends decide to bring his truck (it's basically a go-cart truck, a dodge dakota) down to the edge of the mackinaw. Now this doesn't seem dumb at first glance but then when you see where this is you realize that's the stupidest thing ever. You have to go down this really steep hill down into the muddy marshes. I guess everything was ok until they decided to leave and my brother tried to turn around and his front wheels just sunk. You couldn't even see his tires. He was big time stuck. So he calls my boyfriend and jared goes and tries to get him out. Well, he's stupid too and took his truck down and guess what happend?? He got stuck too. So there are two trucks stuck big time down by the river. jared calls Brett and Brett looks at this hill and the mud and was like no way i'm going down there with my truck. So finally my brother called my dad. My dad brings his big back hoe and takes 3 AND A HALF HOURS, to get both trucks out. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. I think for Christmas I'm going to get Casey a lawn chair so he doesn't have to take his truck down by the river and get it stuck.

Oh no, Identity Crisis!!!!

Ok, So basically I just want everyone to know that Taryn is going through an identity crisis and we should all be praying for her because she's going through a really hard time. Today as we were walking home from Dairy Queen with the whole Kaiser clan, Taryn picked up a fallen brach (from the huge scary storm yesterday) and claimed to be a tree. She looked at me (seriously) and said "Kristi, I am a tree, I really look like a tree, don't I?" I gave her a confused look and said flat out, "no, Taryn, you do not look like you are a tree." So of course we ask her 5 year old nephew if she looks like a tree and of course he says she does and laughs. This whole time Taryn is dead serious thinking that somehow she has magically turned into a tree. We walk a little farther, and Noah starts hitting Taryn with another fallen brach (again, from the huge scary storm). Taryn looks at me and says... "see Kristi, I really do look like a tree, Noah thinks I'm a tree". Taryn is serious. So I am really worried about my dear friend Taryn and ask that everyone please pray for her to make it through this small identity crisis she is going through.

Ok, so Taryn and I obviously love Dairy Queen.
Here is a picture of us last year at this time at Dairy Queen...

And here is a picture of us this year...

We've changed a little bit from then. Mostly just the hair has changed... mine has gotten longer... and Taryn's has gotten shorter.

And this picture is just funny because Taryn inhales Dairy Queen. Everyone orders a sundae, a dilly, nope not Taryn. She orders a Brownie Earthquake which is just ginormous. haha.

Haha. Well I'm out. Gotta check on me ebay order.

Storms

I hate storms. The clouds are very eeeerie and scare me. I was at the pool praying for rain so I could get done early because it was hot and at 4:30, the time I was done working, the sirens went off. I was so scared and I made someone follow me home because how scary would it be to be driving and be sucked up by a tornado. What would you even do? You're alive most the time while your just spinning circles... no thanks. And lightning is scary too. Being Electricuted would not be fun. Storms themselves just scare me. They all go the same way though. I run home away from the storm, into my basement, turn the scanner on and listen to them spot imaginary funnel clouds that never really come around. I just freak myself out for nooo reason. Oh well. My mom even brought my dog downstairs because she was afraid of a tornado. Well, the storms over and I'm getting out of the basement!!! Bye!
